About Me

I’m a writer and educator with a decade of combined experience providing writing services. I provide content development and strategy to businesses across all industries and individual editing and coaching to writers working on creative, academic, or professional projects.

My name is Dean Kritikos.

I was born and raised in New York City, and I’ve been active in the creative scene here since childhood. On the business side, I’ve developed content across all mediums for industry leaders in digital marketing, with a specialization in Thought Leadership in technical verticals like Cybersecurity and Insurance. On the creative and academic front, my work has landed in various anthologies, journals, and magazines, and I’ve read at academic conferences like IWCA and ALA and featured poetry readings.

What sets me apart as a creator and coach is my experience teaching and mentoring writers.

Over the past decade, I’ve taught and supported hundreds of writers in full- and part-time roles at Columbia, CUNY, St. John’s University, Berkeley College, and the College of New Rochelle. In these roles, I’ve worked alongside leading scholars in Composition Studies and developed innovative pedagogies to best support writers with all kinds of projects, from academic papers to job applications. I’ve also provided freelance consultation and editing to writers from all backgrounds, all around the world, covering everything from college entrance essays to short stories to professional correspondence.

There’s nothing more rewarding to me than helping a writing project reach its full potential.

If you’re a writer in need of personal writing support or an organization seeking content creation, see my service pages for more information about how I can help you. And don’t hesitate to get in touch! I’d love to talk about your current or upcoming project.
